We utilize the very latest industry standard software for HVAC design, electrical design, part L compliance and modelling, along with server based networked computers, full remote access and high speed digital communications to maximize accuracy, efficiency and service.
Operations are largely paperless with all drawings and documents prepared and managed using the latest software packages, from which we can export files to our design software and desktop software. We do however retain full in-house digital printing and large format plotting capabilities where presentation, publication and distribution of paper documentation is necessary.
Our staff have full access and make regular reference to all relevant current industry BS codes, CIBSE & IEE guides, CDM & Environmental legislation, and statutory instruments, allowing us to remain abreast of current, new and emerging legislation, and to provide expert advice on its application to our construction projects.
We have in place full management procedures to ensure the Health and Safety of our operations and staff, and we are seeking accreditation under Quality Assurance ISO 9001 procedures.

Responsibilities
The advertised role will encompass all aspects of design. For junior engineers, initially the work will include creating CAD drawings, calculations and design. Then moving as soon as possible in to intermediate roles including project running, snagging completed construction and interfacing with the design team, contractors & clients. The intention is that employees will gradually take on a more senior role as the company grows, eventually overseeing work of new junior engineers.
Applicant Requirements:
Degree in either Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or similar (Required)
Logical thinking Able to take on a wide range of tasks and responsibilities
Excellent written and spoken communication
Good organisation skills Self-starter but also able to work as part of a team
Experience using AutoCAD, Google SketchUp or Revit software (Preferred)
Understanding of British Standards,
Building Regulations and legislation(Required for intermediate applicants)
2+ years of experience as a Building Services Design Engineer (Required for intermediate applicants)
